An Australian-first research using data extracted through Outcome Health’s POLAR platform, will focus on the identification and prevalence of long covid in primary care.

Using deidentified General Practice data extracted through our POLAR system, we are collaborating with Macquarie University and four Primary Health Networks (Eastern Melbourne PHN, South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network, Central and Eastern Sydney PHN, and South Western Sydney PHN) in an Australian-first research initiative, with the Digital Health CRC.

The project will focus on the identification and prevalence of Long COVID in primary care, and how this can be best managed in general practice. It extends a collaborative partnership with Macquarie Uni addressing COVID-19.
